21-Year-Old Joe Bonamassa Performance and Interview From 1998 — Video

Filmed as part World of Guitar series created by Bob Miles, Joe Bonamassa gives a live performance and a short interview which gives some insight into then 21-year-old guitarist early in his solo career, shortly before the release of his debut album, A New Day Yesterday.

Look out for around the 1:20 minute mark in the clip, when interviewer Miles asks Joe about his ability to imitate some of his guitar idols such as, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jeff Beck. With Bonamassa appearing to channel those greats, by unhesitantly demoing some lines in their trademark styles.
