Guitar Icon Jeff Beck Talks and Demos Some of His Amazing Guitar Collection— Video

Jeff Beck with his 1954 Fender Telecaster

In 2011, electric guitar pioneer Jeff Beck sat down to discuss and demo a handful of the favourite and most important guitars that he has come to own over his five-decade-long career to date.

Taken from the bonus section of Beck’s DVD release Rock ‘n’ Roll Party, the near 15-minute-long clip begins with the story of his once beloved Fender Esquire, which he traded for a (very unusual at the time) humbucker fitted Fender Telecaster with luthier and pickup specialist Seymour Duncan.

Other guitars that get a mention are his 1956 Gretsch Duo Jet and 1954 Fender Tele, which he gives us a few bars on, a vintage Stratocaster given to him by John McLaughlin and more.

The full clip can be seen in the video below.
