Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2016 Classic Performances — Video

With the announcement today, that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is scheduled to induct; Cheap Trick, Chicago, Deep Purple, Steve Miller and N.W.A. We thought we would take a look back, at some vintage performances from 4 (Sorry N.W.A. we couldn’t think of any guitar moments?) of the honoured 5 acts.

In the clips below we have a 1970 UK tv performance from Deep Purple, performing “Speed King”, “Child in Time”, “Wring That Neck” and “Mandrake Root”.

Chicago perform “25 or 6 to 4” (also from 1970). Don’t miss Terry Kath’s killer solo at around the 2 minute mark.

The Steve Miller Band and Joe Satriani team up for “Fly Like An Eagle” from 2005 and in the bottom clip, Cheap Trick give us a unique solo interlude from the early 1990’s.
