Andy Timmons “Cry For You” Recording Session Video From 1994 — Video

After selling over a million records worldwide as part of the rock band Danger Danger and touring the world opening for the likes of Kiss and Alice Cooper. Andy Timmons headed to the studio to record his first solo album, Ear X-tacy.

The instrumental rock record contains many fan favorites such as; “Carpe Diem”, “Electric Gypsy” and “Cry For You”. In the video clip below, footage of the later track can be seen, filmed during the 1994 studio recording session for album.

During the clip we get a rare look (even though it’s grainy) at how this great guitar ballad was brought to life, with some amazing phrases off-screen at the start as a warm-up, an extended solo section missing from the final version and incredible playing throughout
