Steve Vai’s Full Set at Expo ’92 Including the 1st Live Performance of “For The Love of God”— Video

 

In October 1991, Steve Vai appeared as part of the Guitar Legends concert series in Sevilla, Spain. Held over five nights, the shows featured many of the worlds top guitar players including, Brian May, BB King, George Benson, Joe Walsh, Les Paul, Robert Cray, Albert Collins, Joe Satriani and many others.

In the clips below, see Vai’s contribution to the show with performances of “Liberty” with Brian May and Joe Satriani, “Greasy Kid’s Stuff” and in the bottom video, the debut of “For The Love of God” to a live audience.
